EKCÖLAB training 2023 for registered members only: starts 1st September.

The EKCÖLAB summit training will be organize this year as from September running through November. The training last year was held for environmental and Water awareness created to project the ideas and visions of ekcolab, in preparing and training future water and environmental experts and educating young professionals to take charge of their environmental and Water resources, which is in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals 4, 6, 11, 13 and 14.

The Theme for last year's training 2021 was captioned; "A Practical Approach In Solving Water Quality Problems For Local Communities In Africa"

The first segment of the program took place onsite and remotely on September 2021 in Cameroon and Nigeria respectively.

The events consisted of;

1, Environmental field techniques and completion of environmental inspection forms.

2, Water sample collection and procedures for standard sample collection techniques.

3, Group execution of tasks aimed at demonstrating adequate understanding of the workshop.

4, Quiz/Test of knowledge for water and environmental awareness.

5, Finally, presentation of certificates to exceptional participants and recognition of excellence.

This year training will include all EKCÖLAB registered members in Cameroon, Nigeria, Malawi and India. The next training is scheduled for 1st September 2022 for newly registered member and 1st November 2022 for old members.

The training courses differ from each other as shown below

• New members will register for Environmental and Water Sanitary Inspector Training

• Old members will register for Water and Environmental Science Training

The Theme for this years training is : "Changing the Narratives and Seeking Long Lasting Solutions to Curb Water and Environmental Problems In Communities"
